james holds a bag of goldfish up to the camera he puts it down in his passenger seat he is driving

he takes a sip of root beer he is driving

calvin lays in the back seat he has a bloody head wound

james pulls over to a river shore and carries calvin to the rocks

andrew sets up a drumkit on the rocks and plays a wicked sweet drums solo

calvin opens his eyes and wipes blood from his face

we are never quite sure if he survives

"and so my brother lays upon the rocks he could be dead he could be not he could be you"

throughout the film both brothers feel as though they are being more mature then the other to protect one another

"i was stone and he was wax so he could scream and still relax"

and remember the whole theme of this film is: improbable
