here are some of my favorite videos on youtube and why:

I realize the irreversible damage youtube has done to the internet and to all of society but also its just kind of an okay website to watch a few good videos on. Generally I like to think of myself as a fan of the much more sophisticated and artistically inspired films. I am obviously not anti-commercial but I see the overly commercial as a culture destroying cancer porno onto all of society but not like in a snobby way or whatever. Anyways the point here is that some of these films might look stupid as fuck and upon first viewing they may seem stupid and you know what fuck you guys you may always hate these videos but these are my favorite ones.



first we have a video labled as a group performance from noise groups yellow swans, wolf eyes, and black dice. of course it is not it is just a bunch of stupid teenage boys playing phallo centric goofy shred guitar on loud amps. Its funny to think about all these people who come into guitar center and play their guitars so much the same yet they don't know each other at all. its cool.



This is a video of my favorite band ever, Frog Eyes, playing part of their song one in six children will flee in boats. Although it is not the complete song it is a very interesting take of the song, it is played very different than the album version the colors in this video look very pretty.



I don't know why but i think this video is fucking hilarious. This was recorded last summer when hakeem and i where being incredibly immature and silly and cussing like fools. It was fun. The overuse of the word bitch was a prominent theme in our faux/legit rap group, zipties and monday. We shall all aspire to be one of those guys that are not bitches. Its cool.



This continues on the same theme as the last. It is Hakeem implying that he is fucking his guitar. Not a lot too it. His mom walks in and thats funny. It's important. it's cool.



this is animal collective playing a song live on the streets of paris. It is great. It has this natural perfect feeling to it. It brings this special connection to this brilliant band. Its cool.



This is Fraiser saying "billy". I know the context if you want it but its unimportant. This video is great mostly just because it exists. The idea that someone thought "billy" was so funny he had to take that clip and put it on her computer and upload it. Its cool.



this video of course is just silly. It's billy cosby acting like a dork. he sounds crazed and confused and batshit. But there is much more to this video. This is bill cosby sadly falling into the aura of his own stereotype. He has more than likely seen the caricature of himself painted by the media and he has turned into it. Its obviously he messed up and decided to not say what he was going to say. He seems like he is having fun and it is very funny until the very end. And then there is this weird kind of sad look on his face. Its cool.



this one is better without audio. im sick of writing descriptions. Paperrad is awesome and this is an okay introduction to them. they are so cool.



dane is lonley and bored so he films himself playing dicide and it is so funny and he is actually really clever and cool.

this is from dr. suesses film the 10000 fingers of dr t. Its a brilliant beautiful looking film and its very pretty. and this song is so dark and cool and funny and shut up its cool.



a really pretty ad by my favorite director, we anderson. it gives a much closer relationship to the fan of we anderson and it has this cool rushed perfect feeling. it also proves that art and commercialism can work together. its cool.



this is just really good okay. it puts you into a trance and makes you inlove with it.



really horrible song for the opening sequence of the garfeild cartoon. its cool.
